The Shape Of Sound
The sculptor Henry Moore lived and worked a short walk away from where I live. Many of his works are on public view and have been part of my everyday life for many years. Moore was very interested by the landscape, even creating transparent workspaces so he could work surrounded by the countryside and natural light. I decided to start making sketches in the presence of these pieces experimenting with notation and form in the spirit of Moore's own experiments with form, as well as more through-composed impressions of the man and his work.
